Dr. Telias holds secondary appointments in the Del Monte Institute for Neuroscience, the Center for Visual Science and the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology, and is a member of the Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Research Center.
He is the current Associate Director of the Core Imaging Module.
BIO
I'm a neuroscientist with a focus in molecular and cellular physiology.
My goal is to understand the interplay between neuronal activity and gene expression, and how it is affected by disease in the retina and in the brain.

Dr. Kaitlin Wozniak
Research Scientist and Lab Manager
Kaitlin holds a BS in Physics from Allegheny college and a PhD in Optics from the University of Rochester. She was a Postdoctoral Associate in the Flaum Eye Institute before joining the Telias lab as a Lab Manager and Research Scientist.

Dr. Leonor Afrima
Postdoctoral Associate
Leonor holds a B.S. in Animal Sciences, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Bio-Medical Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition, she was a Research Assistant at the Weizmann Institute of Science and an R&D Researcher at Phibro.
Adib Behrouzi
Graduate Student
Adib Behrouzi holds a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.S. in Psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. He is an MD/PhD student (Class of 2030) in the Medical Scientist Training Program (Dept. of Pathology) at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Alan is majoring in Cell & Developmental Biology with a minor in Psychology at the University of Rochester. He was awarded the Discovery Grant for his summer project 2022 at the Telias Lab.
